The Zebra ADP-RFD40-TC2X-2E is an eConnex adapter designed to mount compatible Zebra TC22 and TC27 mobile computers directly onto the Zebra RFD40 RFID sled. It provides the physical and electrical interface needed to combine the mobile computer and RFID reader into a single handheld unit for inventory, asset tracking and RFID data capture applications.


This adapter is specifically intended for the 8-pin versions of the Zebra TC22 and TC27. It is required when these mobile computers are used directly on top of the RFD40, providing a secure integrated connection between the host device and the RFID sled.
